On October 19, 2018, Will Cantrell was quoted by the Pensacola News Journal in an article concerning a start-up health care company that won two consecutive bids to provide school health care services to the Escambia County School District. Specifically, after winning the first bid, the losing bidder, Pediatric Services of America (“PSA”) filed two lawsuits; one against the Escambia County School District and the other against the start-up health care company. Cantrell Schuette, P.A. represents the start-up healthcare company in the federal court lawsuit. In that lawsuit, Cantrell Schuette, P.A. filed several counter-claims on behalf the start-up healthcare company, including claims of business defamation and tortious interference. Despite PSA’s meritless lawsuit, Cantrell Schuette’s client was still able to win a second consecutive bid to provide school health services to the Escambia County School District.
