Over the course of her career, Tracey has had the unique opportunity to sit “2nd chair” in more than a hundred jury trials and evidentiary hearings, and she prepped and assisted in hundreds of depositions, mediations, and arbitrations in a wide array of practice areas, including employment law, anti-trust, personal injury, insurance defense, environmental law, transaction law, construction defense and criminal defense.

Tracey’s unwavering commitment to advocating for the rights and well-being of others traces back to the early ’90s when she embarked on a meaningful journey, working closely with the Battered Women’s Clemency Project and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). In the years that followed, Tracey went on to write several grants for the 4th Avenue Cultural Enrichment Center in Tallahassee, which supported cultural initiatives tailored to underprivileged children in some of the city’s most challenged areas.  Tracey is as a lifelong advocate for the rights and equality of women and minorities, relentlessly working toward the restoration of civil liberties for all. She was awarded the Presidential Award of Distinction bestowed upon her by appellate lawyer Michael Ufferman, Past President of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for her contributions to the association over the years.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Tracey’s dedication to her community shines through her years of service as a Girl Scout troop leader, where she played an instrumental role in nurturing and guiding her daughter’s troop for several years. Tracey’s unwavering commitment to philanthropy is equally inspiring, as she successfully raised over $30,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, championing the cause of breast cancer awareness through her participation in 3 – three-day, 60-mile walks in Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Tampa.  Tracey is also Paul Harris Fellow Rotarian, which serves as a reflection of her dedication and service as part of the Northside Rotary in Tallahassee, Florida.

Florida State University Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity Alumni and Brothers honored Tracey with an Award of Distinction for her unwavering defense of the fraternity against Florida State University’s Greek life proceedings a few years back. At the time, this recognition held particular significance as she was the first woman in the fraternity’s history to receive such an accolade.

Tracey is a lifelong cyclist and co-authored a mountain bike trail guide for Florida in the late ‘90s. She learned to swim at 40 and took up triathlons, went on to compete in several sprints and Olympic distant triathlons, and completed the Ironman Augusta.
